BEIJING — China's service trade deficit narrowed in September, official data showed on Oct 31.

The country's service trade deficit stood at $21.9 billion last month, down from August's $26.4 billion, according to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE).

September's trade in goods registered a surplus of $46.6 billion, expanding from the previous month's $42.8 billion, SAFE data showed.
