BEIJING — China's natural gas import posted slower growth in October, data from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) showed.
The country imported 9.34 billion cubic meters of natural gas in October, down 5.7 percent year-on-year.
In the first 10 months, natural gas imports totaled 106.8 billion cubic meters, up 8.4 percent year-on-year.
The output hit 14.67 billion cubic meters last month, up 9.2 percent year-on-year, according to the NDRC.
In the first 10 months of the year, 142.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced, up 10.2 percent year-on-year.
