China's energy output maintains stable growth in H1

BEIJING — China's energy output maintained stable growth in the first half of the year, data from the National Energy Administration showed.

The country's coal production reached 1.81 billion tons in the January-June period, up 0.6 percent year-on-year.

The output of crude oil in the same period came in at 97.15 million tons, an increase of 1.7 percent year-on-year.

Natural gas output increased 10.3 percent year-on-year to 94 billion cubic meters in the first six months.
