BEIJING — China saw slower growth in natural gas output last month, according to official data.
The natural gas output went up 4.8 percent year-on-year to 14.2 billion cubic meters last month, retreating from the 11.3-percent rise seen in June, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed.
Average daily production came in at 460 million cubic meters.
In the first seven months of this year, the country's natural gas production gained 9.5 percent year-on-year to 108.3 billion cubic meters.
The country's natural gas imports fell 6.9 percent year-on-year to 7.35 million tonnes last month, according to the NBS.
