BEIJING — China saw its international cargo and mail transport rise 1.9 percent year-on-year in November, marking the first positive monthly growth this year, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said on Dec 16.
Last month, the total transport turnover of the country's civil aviation sector hit 8.28 billion metric ton kilometers, rebounding to 77.3 percent of the level seen in the same period last year, according to the administration.
The average number of daily flights decreased slightly by 2.3 percent month-on-month to stand at 14,000 in November, a rebound to 86.6 percent of the number during the same period last year, the CAAC said.
The country's general aviation flight hours totaled 106,000 last month, up 9.2 percent year-on-year, CAAC data shows.
