BEIJING — China's logistics sector reported steady growth in the first two months of this year, an industry report showed.
Social logistics rose 32.4 percent year-on-year in the January to February period to 44.7 trillion yuan (about $6.84 trillion), according to the report released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
The rapid growth can be attributed to a low base last year owing to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the report noted.
The total revenue of the logistics industry rose 44.9 percent year-on-year to 1.4 trillion yuan during the period.
