BEIJING — The industrialization transfer rate of China's effective patents stood at 34.7 percent in 2020, an annual survey issued by the National Intellectual Property Administration said on April 26.
For enterprise patentees, the patent industrialization rate is 44.9 percent, which had been above 40 percent in the past five years.
In 2020, the proportion of patent holders affected by infringements dropped to 10.8 percent, 3.7 percentage points lower than the survey data in 2015.
Meanwhile, the proportion of Chinese enterprise patentees taking legal countermeasures against infringements was 73.9 percent. It is 11.1 percentage points higher than that in 2015.
The survey report was based on 12,019 valid questionnaires of patent holders and 34,461 questionnaires on patent information.
