BEIJING — China's monthly weighted average interbank lending rate stood at 2.01 percent in April, flat with March and up 0.9 percentage points from a year earlier, central bank data showed.
The monthly weighted average interest rate for pledged repos was 1.96 percent in April, down 0.05 percentage points month-on-month but up 0.85 percentage points year-on-year, said the People's Bank of China.
In April, lending, cash bond and repo transactions in the interbank RMB market totaled 112.61 trillion yuan ($17.46 trillion), with the daily average decreasing by 24 percent year-on-year to 5.12 trillion yuan.
