In the first half of 2022, Heilongjiang province saw its foreign trade exceed 122.21 billion yuan ($18.09 billion), with a year-on-year increase of 30.7 percent, according to the Harbin Customs.
Among them, the total export reached 22.95 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 14.1 percent and the total import reached 99.26 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 35.3 percent.
Its growth rate ranked sixth across the country, with 21.3 percent higher than the national growth rate in the same period.
Data also shows that the province's trade in goods with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative totaled 96.38 billion yuan, 37 percent up that of last year and accounting for 78.9 percent of the province's total.
Its trade with members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership increased by 23 percent to 11.18 billion yuan.
