The base, dubbed "sturgeon valley", covers an area of over 120,000 square meters and is now home to more than one million sturgeons. Sturgeons, once bred in net cages on the Qingjiang River, were all transferred ashore in 2017, which helps improve water quality of the river. [Photo/Xinhua]
