BEIJING, June 30 -- Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing met with Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, on Friday in Beijing.

Zhang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era maintained healthy and stable development.

China is ready to work with Russia, guided by the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, to give play to the inter-governmental cooperation mechanism, upgrade industrial cooperation and boost the development of the two countries, said Zhang.

Manturov said that Russia is willing to make joint efforts with China to develop positive and forward-looking industrial cooperation between the two countries.
