The installed capacity of new energy in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has surpassed 50 million kW after a new project began operating. Thanks to its improved power grid structure and energy storage facilities, Xinjiang has seen a significant increase in electricity generated by new energy. The region's newly installed new energy capacity hit 7.02 million kilowatts in the first half of this year. Xinjiang has also stepped up the adoption of digital technologies to harvest more renewable energy from nature and promote efficient energy use.
