BEIJING, Sept. 13 -- China's State Council Information Office will hold a news conference on Thursday to interpret the major policy of making Fujian Province a demonstration zone for the integrated development across the Taiwan Strait, a government spokesman said Wednesday.
Officials to brief the media include Pan Xianzhang, vice director of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, Cong Liang, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Luo Dongchuan, Fujian's deputy Party chief, according to Chen Binhua, spokesman for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office.
China on Tuesday issued a circular on supporting making Fujian a demonstration zone for cross-Strait integrated development.
