BEIJING, Sept. 14 -- China and Cambodia will hold a joint humanitarian exercise, code-named "Peace Angel 2023," in Cambodia in mid-to-late September, Tan Kefei, spokesperson for China's Ministry of National Defense, announced Thursday.

The joint exercise will be conducive to improving the coordinated action and emergency response capabilities of the Chinese and Cambodian militaries in health services and deepening pragmatic exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries, Tan said.
