Autumn paints a picturesque landscape in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. One color on display is white, which reaches the frozen peaks of Biezhentao and stretches west through the mountains of Tianshan. These mountains are nestled in Wenquan County, in the Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture.
