The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the mega sea crossing linking China's two special administrative regions and the city in Guangdong Province on the mainland, has seen a travel peak during the ongoing eight-day Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday.
Over 12,000 vehicles used the bridge on October 1, setting a new daily record during the first three days of the holiday. The passenger flow at the Zhuhai Highway Port through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge reached 214,000 passenger trips between September 29 and October 1, while motor vehicle traffic flow at the port reached 35,000 trips over the period.
