BEIJING, Nov. 3 -- The first world forestry industry conference will be held in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from Nov. 23 to 26, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration said on Friday.
Held under the framework of the China-ASEAN Expo, the conference is expected to be the largest international forestry conference in recent years, as well as the most high-level, Wang Junzhong, an official with the administration, told a press conference.
The event will include a combination of conferences, exhibitions and forums.
More than 1,000 key enterprises from the forestry industry, both from home and abroad, will attend the China-ASEAN Expo forestry and wood product exhibition, displaying products covering the whole industrial chain.
Covering five hectares, the exhibition will be held in 13 themed areas with 15 exhibition halls.
