BEIJING, March 6 -- The following are the schedules for the second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) and the second session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Thursday.

-- The second session of the 14th NPC will hold group meetings of deputies, who will examine reports and drafts on budgets and economic and social development plans in the morning and deliberate a draft revision to the Organic Law of the State Council in the afternoon.

The NPC Financial and Economic Affairs Committee will review reports and drafts on budgets and economic and social development plans.

The NPC Constitution and Law Committee will review a draft revision to the Organic Law of the State Council.

-- The second session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee will hold its second plenary meeting in the morning. In the afternoon, political advisors of certain sectors will hold group consultations, and political advisors of other sectors will hold group meetings.

-- At 10 a.m., Foreign Minister Wang Yi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will meet the press.
