TIANJIN, May 7 -- The history of Beian Bridge, which spans the Haihe River in north China's Tianjin, dates back to 1939. Beian Bridge is a mixture of French and Chinese cultures. The design of the bridge draws inspiration from both traditional Chinese mythologies and the Pont Alexandre III bridge in Paris.
