In recent years, Guangxi has been actively pursuing opportunities through cross-regional industrial collaborations to target the ASEAN market. The region has introduced more than 160 leading enterprises since 2021 and involved itself in cross-regional industrial division and coordination with the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Such efforts have effectively strengthened and supplemented regional industrial chains in sectors such as new energy vehicles, power batteries, and fine chemicals, and accelerated the development of new quality productive forces.
