NANNING, May 28 -- In recent years, Guangxi has sought ocean-oriented development opportunities and promoted open development, so as to make greater achievements in promoting high-quality development in border areas with large ethnic minority populations.

Guangxi has actively pursued opportunities through cross-regional industrial collaborations to target the ASEAN market. The region has introduced more than 160 leading enterprises since 2021. It has involved itself in cross-regional industrial division and coordination with the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
