The Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has witnessed a significant rise in inbound and outbound travelers in July. As of July 21, the airport immigration checkpoint has handled over 6,200 international flights and more than 830,000 entry and exit trips. Of which, nearly 220,000 were foreigners, exceeding 26 percent of the total. Over 320 foreigners entered China via Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport under the 144-hour visa-free transit policy between July 1 and 21.
