New ring scenic highway under construction in China's Hainan

Workers operate machinery constructing a new ring scenic highway in Baoting, south China's Hainan Province, Nov. 6, 2024. With a total length of 466 kilometers, the ring scenic highway around the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park is an important part of the transportation system of the national park. The ring road will pass through nine cities and counties, including Lingshui, Baoting, Sanya, and Ledong on the island. Currently, the project is progressing in an orderly manner. [Photo/Xinhua]
