Lightweight smart construction platform for bridge construction conducts 1st jacking operation in Hubei

This aerial drone photo taken on Jan. 3, 2025 shows a new generation lightweight smart construction platform at the north tower construction site of Libu Yangtze River road-rail bridge project in Jingzhou, central China's Hubei Province. A new generation lightweight smart construction platform for bridge construction, developed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd., conducted its first jacking operation here Friday. The Libu Yangtze River road-rail bridge is 1,723 meters long with a main span of 1,120 meters. The bridge tower on the north bank is 215.5 meters high, about the height of a 70-story skyscraper. [Photo/Xinhua]
