Chinese, German FMs hold talks on bilateral ties

Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin on Oct 9, making in-depth exchanges of views on the Sino-German relations as well as regional and international issues of common concern.

They agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation between the foreign ministries of their countries so as to well implement the consensus reached by leaders of both sides and further promote the development of the China-Germany comprehensive strategic partnership.

Wang is currently accompanying Premier Li Keqiang for a three-day official visit to Germany.

Li will also visit Russia and Italy.
