BEIJING — An initiative was released at the second health cooperation forum of China and Arab states, which was held on Aug 16 in Beijing.
Titled "China-Arab States Health Cooperation 2019 Beijing Initiative," the document was adopted to deepen health cooperation between China and Arab states.
The forum is aimed to build a platform for experience and policy exchanges of health cooperation and further promote cooperation between China and Arab states, according to Ma Xiaowei, head of the National Health Commission (NHC) of China.
Jointly held by the NHC and the League of Arab States (LAS), around 180 people attended the forum, including representatives, envoys of 21 LAS member countries and delegates from international organizations.
