HOHHOT — A cultural week between China and Mongolia began on Aug 18 in Urad Middle Banner in the city of Bayannur, northern China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
According to the organizer, the event has attracted thousands of Chinese and Mongolian tourists, with Mongolian dance performances and traditional ritual activities presented during the opening ceremony.
A stone exhibition with more than 1,000 pieces of jade and exotic stones from the two countries will also be held during the 7-day event.
