Updated: July 8, 2019 17:41 Xinhua

The closure site of the main arch of a bridge is seen in Southwest China, July 7, 2019. Located on the border area of Southwest China’s Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces, the bridge saw its main arch closed on July 7, laying a foundation for its completion at the end of 2019. Once built, the bridge will solve the traffic difficulties for hundreds of thousands of people living in the border area of the three provinces and make contribution for the poverty alleviation in the Wumeng Mountain area.
