A total of 103 elderly care service centers have been established so far in Nanchang county through joint efforts from local authorities, enterprises and public welfare funds, as a way to make meal services accessible to rural senior residents. Two free meals are offered a day to the elderly who are empty-nesters and live on the "Five Guarantees" (senior or disabled people unable to work and without a source of income are guaranteed food, clothing, medical care, housing and burial expenses).[Photo/Xinhua]
