Three Gorges Reservoir finishes 175-meter experimental impoundment

The water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir rose to 175 meters as of 8 pm on Oct 28, reaching the experimental impoundment goal for 2019. The Three Gorges Reservoir completed the 175-meter experimental impoundment over 10 consecutive years, providing strong support for electricity generation, shipping and ecology during winter and next spring.
