In recent years, the city’s top aluminum makers have taken a lead in forming an industrial cluster focusing on whole-process production links, covering raw materials, electrolytic aluminum, aluminum structural sections, and high-end aluminum products. This complete chain added much more value to the final aluminum products, including food packaging, communications devices and all-aluminum furniture. The industrial cluster has pushed the city’s annual aluminum product processing capacity to 4 million tons, boosting local economic growth.
