Old residential communities being renovated in Jilin

Since the end of last year, local authorities have been working on renovations of old residential communities built over 20 years ago. Inner and outer wall renovations, waterproofing the roof, and road reinforcements are scheduled to be done first. Infrastructure construction with coordination among all renovating departments will help reduce the necessity of doing the work again, which may harm the environment and waste resources. The first stage of the project is expected to be finished in October. The local government will assign property management companies to the renovated communities for facility maintenance.
