Main structure of China National Convention Center capped in 2nd phase

The China National Convention Center, under construction in Beijing on Aug 31, is undergoing the second phase of its main steel work. With the last 6-meter steel girder hoisted in place, construction of the second phase was completed 76 days earlier than scheduled. The project will serve as the main media center during the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, offering a venue for media agencies from around the world. [Photo/Xinhua]
