Relocated residents to move in to new villages in E China's Shandong

On Sept 20, newly built villages in Juancheng county of the Yellow River basin were ready for residents to move in after three years of planning and construction. Shandong province in 2017 launched a plan to relocate residents from the Yellow River basin area. Through the work of resettling, building foundations in nearby safe sites as new residential areas, protecting embankment, renovating and upgrading old villages and improving road conditions, Shandong will complete the relocation of 600,000 residents from the basin area by the end of 2020.
