A Hainan Airlines charter flight from Southwest China’s Chongqing to Manchester, Britain, took off with 74 students at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on Sept 21, 2020.
It is the first flight operated by a Chinese airline for students to resume their overseas studies since the COVID-19 outbreak.
From Sept 21 to Nov 15, some 20,000 students from all over the country will gather in Chongqing and take more than 90 direct flights to Manchester and Bristol, both in the United Kingdom.
