After Cold Dew, Gelongshan village embraced the harvest period of hairy crabs. The village built crab breeding bases covering over 350 mu (about 23.33 hectares) to fully make use of their local natural advantages. A professional crab breeding cooperative was established, with most of its employees coming from local impoverished families. The marketing model linking breeding bases, farmers and markets has helped increase the villagers’ income. [Photo/Xinhua]
