Fu Xiaofang, who is from the Li ethnic group, started her own tea business in 2008, running the Wulilu organic tea garden in Baisha Li autonomous county, her hometown. By trial and error, Fu's tea garden expanded to about 20 hectares, selling organic tea across China. Operating under an industrial poverty alleviation program, the tea garden has involved impoverished farmers in tea production and helped them shake off poverty. [Photo/Xinhua]
