Mega sea-crossing project marks topping-out

Eastern tower on Lingdingyang Bridge, a key section of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, in South China’s Guangdong province, June 16, 2021. Topping-out of the eastern tower on Lingdingyang Bridge was completed on June 17. With a main span of 1,666 meters, the bridge has a 270-meter tower on the east and west side, respectively. Designed to connect cities in the eastern part of the Pearl River Delta with those in the western part, Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is a mega sea-crossing project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area that integrates sea tunnel, bridge and island structures.
