The 15.5-kilometer-long Chengjiang bridge, the largest bridge on the railway, was completed on July 26 after the installation of its last box girder. The railway line will cut travel time from Nanning to Guiyang to about two hours. With a designed maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the line is expected to go into service in 2023.
