Undertaken by the China Railway Group, the project has seen the completion of concrete placement, laying the foundation for the following construction work. Starting from Chuzhou station in East China's Anhui province, the Chuzhou-Nanjing intercity railway spans 54.4 kilometers and ends at Nanjing North Station, which is under planning and construction.
