A converter station of the 800-kilovolt direct current transmission line from Qinghai to Henan, in Northwest China's Qinghai province, Sept 1, 2021. The total clean power transmission volume of ultra-high voltage line hit 15.6 billion kWh by the end of August, according to State Grid Corp of China. The line, extending 1,563 kilometers through four provinces, from Qinghai, Gansu and Shaanxi provinces, to Central China's Henan province, started its operation on Dec 30, 2020. [Photo/Xinhua]
