Helicopters used to check low-carbon green power lines for Winter Olympics

A helicopter airlifts electricity workers to the site of power lines at the Guanting reservoir, Huailai county, North China’s Hebei province, on Nov 12, 2021. Helicopters flew to check and handle defects of transmission lines at Guanting reservoir, Huailai county, on Nov 12 to ensure safe and stable operation, and guarantee supply of low-carbon green electricity for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. The transmission lines extend from Zhongdu to Yanqing, part of 500 kV Zhangbei flexible DC power transmission and transformation project. [Photo/Xinhua]
