First China-Laos freight train from Yangtze River Delta region departs

The first "Jiangsu" China-Laos international freight train, loaded with 76 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of export goods, is set to depart from Nanjing's freight transport center, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 8, 2021. It was the first China-Laos freight train to leave from the Yangtze River Delta region. The line is 3,500 kilometers long, and the train will take six days to make the journey from Nanjing to Vientiane, capital of Laos. [Photo/Xinhua]
