Bullet train for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics makes debut run

Bullet train G9981, set up for the upcoming Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, stops at Chongli Railway Station of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway on Jan 6, 2022, on its maiden journey. Traveling at speeds of up to 350 kph, the train features a high definition studio for live broadcasts supported by 5G technology. The line includes eight trains, with an operation capacity of 564 people, sporting white and blue colors with 24 snowflakes to represent the 24th Games. It is scheduled to operate between Jan 21 and March 13. [Photo/Xinhua]
