China displays new-generation carrier rockets and motor

Models of China’s new-generation carrier rocket family are on display at Airshow China in Zhuhai, South China's Guangdong province, on Nov 9, 2022. The 14th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition displays models of China’s next-generation carrier rocket family and an integrated solid rocket motor, including the Long March-5B carrier rocket, a heavy-lift carrier rocket, the new-generation manned carrier rocket, a modified version of the Long March-6 carrier rocket, and the Smart Dragon 3 carrier rocket. The payload that China is capable of sending into geosynchronous transfer orbit has risen from 5.5 tons to 14 tons, and that into the near-Earth orbit from 8.5 tons to 25 tons. [Photo/Xinhua]
