The type C LNG bunker vessel, XIN AO PU TUO HAO, is aligned with the LNG-powered dual-fuel container ship, CMA CGM SORBONNE, at Yantian Port in Shenzhen city, South China’s Guangdong province, Nov 22, 2022. XIN AO PU TUO HAO successfully filled LNG into CMA CGM SORBONNE, marking the first LNG filling business by international ships completed in the city. Shenzhen Port has become the first in South China and the fourth in the world to provide LNG filling services, after the ports of Singapore, Rotterdam and Shanghai. Compared with traditional oil-driven container vessels, LNG-powered ships will help reduce sulfur oxide and nitrogen oxide emissions by 100 percent and 85 percent, respectively. [Photo/Xinhua]
