BEIJING -- The government has allocated 200 million yuan ($32.79 million) to quake-hit Yunnan, the Ministry of Finance said on Oct 11.
The aid will mainly be spent on rescue, treatment of the injured, relief for victims and repair of public facilities.
A 6.6-magnitude quake hit Jinggu county in southwest China’s Yunnan province at 9:49 pm Beijing Time on Oct 7, killing at least one person and leaving 324 injured.
