HANGZHOU — The conference on the Internet of Things (IoT) for Industry and Energy will open in the city of Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Sept 10.

There are 12 exhibition areas including smart new energy, smart industry and new materials in the four-day conference, which will display the latest achievements in 5G, IoT for industry and energy and other technologies.

The conference will exhibit cutting-edge IoT technologies and applications of 5G with big data technologies and IoT platforms, said Wang Chi, deputy mayor of the city.

The event is jointly hosted by the China Federation of Industrial Economics, China Machinery Industry Federation, the city government of Wenzhou and other institutions.
