BEIJING — Solomon Islands' Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare will pay an official visit to China from Oct 8 to 13, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying announced Oct 7.

Sogavare will be visiting at the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang. During his stay in China, Sogavare will attend the closing ceremony of the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition (Beijing Expo 2019), according to Hua.
