BEIJING — The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials on Oct 10.

Gao Yu was appointed deputy secretary-general of the State Council, and Zhu Tianshu was appointed vice-minister of veterans affairs.

He Peilin took the office of deputy director of the National Government Offices Administration.

Luo Yonggang was appointed deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, replacing Sun Da.

Sun Da was appointed deputy director with the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (vice-ministerial level).
